619,301. Bee-hives. REYNOLDS, R. F. Dec. 14, 1946, No. 36933. [Class 5 (ii)] A bee-hive consists of a cylinder T2, B2 having its axis horizontal and surrounded by but spaced from an outer cylinder T1, B1. The joints J overlap and one may be hinged, the upper part T1 being movable in its entirety. The upper inner part T2 is sectionally removable and may be transparent. Circular frames are supported on ledges R, being 'formed with supporting and spacing lugs L, M. Frames are in two rings with the wax foundation clamped between. The alighting board is continued past the entrance E tangentially to the cylinder T1, B1, which may have ventilating openings into the space A. Strips S control the size of the entrance.
