Fecha de publicación: 03/04/2007 Fuente: WIPO "propolis" PURPOSE: A method for preparing a bio cellulose pack containing the propolis extract is provided to improve skin care effects including skin relieving, skin whitening, wrinkle improvement, skin moisturizing, acne treatment and elasticity increase by increasing skin affinity to a patient of sensitive skin and acnes.CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a bio cellulose pack containing the propolis extract comprises the steps of: pulverizing propolis mass collected from a beehive at -4 deg.C and dipping the pulverized propolis in cooled water to remove impurities; mixing the dried propolis with 70% ethanol or mineral water to obtain propolis suspension; centrifuging the propolis suspension and filtering the supernatant to remove wax; drying the wax-removed supernatant at 35-45 deg.C to obtain the ethanol extracted propolis or water extracted propolis; inoculating starter of Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus into a raw material mix; culturing the Propionibacterium sp. in a cellulose production broth medium containing fruit juice and apple vinegar to produce a bio cellulose wet sheet; adding the ethanol-extracted propolis or water-extracted propolis into the bio cellulose wet sheet; inoculating the starter cultured medium into the bio cellulose wet sheet containing propolis; culturing the mixture at 40-45 deg.C for 2.5-4 hours.© KIPO 2007
