PURPOSE: A method of extracting propolis using far infrared rays of a pottery is provided to reduce extraction time of propolis while naturally diffusing aldehyde contained in alcohol by air circulation, and to increase aging effect of propolis. CONSTITUTION: A method of extracting propolis using far infrared rays of a pottery comprises the following steps: hardening propolis raw materials in 1C ~ 10C for 3 days; crushing the hardened propolis raw materials; mixing the crushed propolis raw materials with alcohol; agitating and aging a mixture in a first extraction chamber for 1 month(S40); and repetitively aging and agitating the mixture in a second extraction chamber for 2 months(S50). The first and the second extraction chambers are made of yellow soil. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
