Fecha de publicación: 08/12/2005 Fuente: WIPO "propolis" PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing water-soluble propolis.SOLUTION: This method for producing the water-soluble propolis comprises soaking a raw material block of the propolis in an alcohol, irradiating the propolis with ionization energy, extracting the propolis, so as to produce an alcohol-free propolis extract powder, adding an alkali and an organic acid to the powder, and freeze-drying the powder, so as to produce the highly water-soluble propolis. The propolis is not only improved in an extraction ratio, nor in a content of flavonoid which is an active ingredient, but also eliminates inconvenience in usage caused by adhesion inherent in propolis extract. Therefore, the propolis is easily drinkable, is completely dissolved in water, and has such physical properties as not to cause precipitation, so that the propolis is easily used as a raw material for a healthy functional food and a processed food.COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
