Fecha de publicación: 21/11/1984 Fuente: WIPO "honey" Apparatus for use in the assembly of printed circuit boards comprises a frame consisting of parallel rods (14, 15) and parallel frame members (21, 31) which is mounted on a chassis (1). The frame is arranged to receive a printed circuit board (13) on which components are to be mounted. A first series of lamps (47) is located on a display panel (42) on the chassis adjacent a first edge of the frame and second and third series of lamps (27, 37) are located on the frame members (21, 31). A computer is connected to the lamps and the display panel is provided with controls for programming the computer. The computer can thus be programmed to light the lamps in a predetermined sequence corresponding to given coordinates of the various components to indicate the desired position of each component, in turn, on the printed circuit board. A desired position for each component can be found by visually searching in an area of the board indicated by the illuminated lamps.
