12,143. Honey, E. K. May 24. Filing papers &c.-In a binder having posts e. attached at their lower ends to the bar of one cover, the bar b of the other cover is locked adjustably to the posts by means of sliding blocks g, one for each post, operated by eccentrics k, Figs. 3 and 4, by conical-headed screws m, Fig. 6, or by cams or the like. The blocks g slide on V-guides in the bar b, and are inserted through recesses which are afterwards filled by blocks h carrying the eccentrics or screws k, m, &c. These blocks are fixed by screws i. The bars band blocks g are formed with semicircular recesses where they engage the posts. Separate blocks g, h, &c. are provided for each post. The posts may be in sections screwed one to another for varying the length.
