at least one type of honey;
at least one gelling agent selected from the group consisting of: agar, alginate, polysaccharides; hydrocolloids, hydrogels, and combinations thereof; and, wherein the honey and gelling agent are mixed in sufficient quantities to form a solution with a viscosity sufficient that the solution is able to be spread as a moist film onto a wound.
