A PANEL (10) FOR A RETAINING WALL HAS A SHAPE OF AN INVERTED TEE (T) COMPRISING A HORIZONTALLY EXTENDING LOWER PORTION (12), HAVING A WIDTH OF 3 UNITS AND A HEIGHT OF 1 UNIT, AND A VERTICALLY EXTENDING UPPER PORTION (14) HAVING A WIDTH OF 1 UNIT AND A HEIGHT OF ONE UNIT, THE UPPER PORTION (14) INTEGRAL WITH A CENTRAL PORTION OF THE LOWER PORTION (12), WHEREBY THE PANEL HAS AN OVERALL WIDTH OF 3 UNITS AND AN OVERALL HEIGTH OF 2 UNITS. THE MUCH GREATER MASS OF THE LOWER PORTION (12), RELATIVE TO THE UPPER PORTION (14), MAKES THE PANEL HIGHLY STABLE AND SIGNIFICANTLY LESS PRONE TO TOPPLING OVER DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALL.(FIG 2)
