The present invention relates to an exercise device. In order to minimize load or stress on knee and ankle joints when a user is doing exercise for gluteal and femoral muscles such as a leg press or total hip, indoor bicycling, and outdoor bicycling, the exercise device enhances the gluteus and femoral muscles while protecting the knee and ankle joints by making the user move the legs, putting the bottom of the arms on the thighs in a lying or sitting position. To achieve the purpose, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the exercise device includes: a sitting part in which a user is able to lie or sit down; an arm part attached to the hip joint of the user to be rotatable on the sagittal plane; and a structure in which an end of the arm part is hung on a thigh of the user to be rotatable. According to an embodiment, the exercise device includes various resistors generating resistive force against the rotation of the arm part. Also, the device includes a device for the user to change a rotational shaft. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the exercise device includes two different rotational shafts for one arm. Moreover, according to an embodiment of the present invention, since the exercise device is operated like a bicycle, the rotational shafts of the arm and door are located around the hip joint and an end of the arm is hung on the thigh. Then, when the arm part (32) is rotated clockwise, the shafts are rotated, whereas the shafts are idled when the part is rotated anticlockwise, and thus, the bicycle is able to move forward.
