The present invention provides an exercise device which strengthens the femoral muscle and gluteus while protecting knee and ankle joints by placing the lower end of an arm on a thigh and moving a leg while a user is in a sitting or a lying position to minimize the load or stress applied to knee and ankle joints when performing exercises suitable for femoral muscle and gluteus exercises such as a leg press or a total hip, a stationary indoor bicycle, and an outdoor bicycle. According to embodiments of the present invention, the exercise device comprises: a sitting unit for sitting and lying; an arm rotatably attached to the hip joint of a user on a sagittal plane; and a structure where one end of the arm is rotatably hung on the thighs of the user. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the exercise device has various resistors to produce resistance against rotation of an arm unit. Also, a device wherein a rotary shaft is changed by a user is included. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the exercise device includes two different rotary shafts on a single arm. In addition, the exercise device has a bicycle form where a door and the rotary shafts of the arm are positioned on a hip joint portion and one end of the arm is hung on the back of the thighs, is rotated during clockwise rotation by rotation of the arm unit (32), and idles during counterclockwise rotation to drive the rear wheel to propel the bicycle.
