28,906. Bee, H. H. Dec. 31. Clasp fastenings ; buckles.-A fastening or clasp for use in place of a buckle, and particularly for use with braces, is shown in side elevation. A base-plate A is formed with raised edges a, a', and a gripping-plate B is mounted in extensions a of the edges a, and provided with teeth b and a projecting portion b. The parts a are formed at the ends a as springs, and provided with notches a, a, and cut away at a. Bars b of the plate B normally rest in the notches a, a.
