Bracing device on a masonry-wall guide

In order to brace a masonry-wall guide between floor and ceiling of a storey of a building, a bracing device is fastened on one of the two end parts of the masonry-wall guide. The bracing device has three tubes (1, 2, 3) which are pushed telescopically one inside the other. In order to set the desired length, the first inner tube (2) is releasably locked to the guiding tube (1). A bracing lever (11) is used to draw the second inner tube (3) inwards against the pressure of a helical spring (6), in order to be able to position the masonry-wall guide with the bracing device at the location of use. On releasing the bracing lever (11), the second inner tube (3) shifts outwards under the pressure of the helical spring (6). The two support plates (7), which are fitted, on the one hand, on the second inner tube (3) of the bracing device and, on the other hand, on the masonry-wall guide, rest flush on the floor and ceiling, and the masonry-wall guide is thus braced.
