The invention provides a method for identifying Chinese bee honey and western bee honey, which comprises the following steps: (1) weighing a to-be-detected sample and an internal standard, and carrying out silanization derivation on the to-be-detected sample and the internal standard; (2) detecting the 3, 10-dihydroxydecanoic acid in the sample to be detected by using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer to obtain the content of the 3, 10-dihydroxydecanoic acid in the Chinese bee honey and the western bee honey; and (3) according to the content difference of the 3, 10-dihydroxydecanoic acid in the apis cerana honey and the apis cerana honey, effectively identifying the apis cerana honey and the apis cerana honey. The method can realize simple, rapid and accurate identification of Chinese bee honey and western bee honey.
