The invention is applicable to the technical field of honeybee odorant receptor research, and provides an experimental method for analyzing the influence of an apis cerana odorant receptor AcerOr2 on semen quality, which comprises the following steps of carrying out fluorescent quantitative detection on the expression of a target gene, carrying out Western blot detection on the expression of a target gene protein, and evaluating conventional indexes of sperms by using a CASA computer-assisted analyzer, finally, detecting the integrity of sperm DNA through a flow cytometer, so that the expression of the odorant receptor AcerOr2 and related data of the influence of the odorant receptor AcerOr2 on the semen quality of the bees are obtained, and the possible biological effects of the apis cerana AcerOr2 and downstream signal molecules thereof in regulating the semen quality at the cellular level and the influence of the apis cerana AcerOr2 on the semen quality can be discussed, and a theoretical basis is provided for functional research of the odorant receptor in the reproductive process.
