Proline is found to be capable of remarkably improving the survival rate of Chinese honeybee larvae infected with Chinese honeybee cyst virus (CSBV) and reducing the death rate of the Chinese honeybee larvae. Proline can inhibit the proliferationof CSBV in bees and reduce the copy number of viruses; meanwhile, the expression of endogenous antibacterial peptide can be induced, and the congenital immune defense of bees is improved. The prolinecan be used for preparing medicines or feeds for preventing and treating CSBV infection, has important significance for preventing and treating Chinese sacbrood, and has good market application value.
