The invention relates to the technical field of biochemistry and molecular biology, in particular to an apis cerana heat-resistant related gene DnaJ1 and application thereof. The DnaJ1 gene is significantly induced and expressed under the condition of heat shock stress, and the silent DnaJ1 gene can reduce the heat resistance of apis cerana by reducing the total antioxidant capacity of the apis cerana and increasing the degree of lipid peroxidation and protein and cell oxidative damage; overexpression of the DnaJ1 gene in the apis cerana is expected to improve the survival rate of the apis cerana under the condition of heat shock stress. Therefore, the DnaJ1 can be used as a candidate heat shock response gene for breeding heat-resistant transgenic apis cerana varieties. In view of the effect of the DnaJ1 in heat stress, the gene is expected to be over-expressed in the apis cerana or transgenosis of the gene is expected to be carried out in economic animals such as silkworms, chickens,sheep and pigs in the future to improve the heat resistance of the economic animals, thereby improving the quality and yield of the economic animals; and the gene has important social and economic benefits.
