METHOD OF TREATING MASTITIS, METRITIS AND AGALACTIA SYNDROME OF BROOD SOW USING BEE POISON

PURPOSE: A method for treating a mastitis, metritis and agalactia syndrome of a brood sow by applying poison of Apis mellifera as a milkman bee to a specific acupoint of a brood sow is provided, thereby causing no problems of antibiotic resistance and accumulation in the body and improving therapeutic effects.CONSTITUTION: The treatment method comprises: seizing an Apis mellifera L. one by one with a pincette; allowing the seized Apis mellifera L. to sting a specific acupoint of a brood sow suffering from a mastitis, metritis and agalactia syndrome such as kyuoso-hyeol, yangmyeong-hyeol and haemun-hyeol associated with the treatment of the syndrome. The Apis mellifera L. used is a mature bee of 15 days or more. This method for treating the MMA of the brood sow using bee venom exhibits a high therapeutic effect of 90.9%.© KIPO 2002
