INSECTICIDE FOR VARROA JACOBSONI FORMED BY GELLING FORMIC ACID AND RECEPTACLE

PURPOSE: An insecticide for varroa jacobsoni formed by gelling formic acid and a receptacle are provided to simplify the method for destructing the varroa jacobsoni, and to improve the productivity of honey.CONSTITUTION: The insecticide for varroa jacobsoni used as a medicine for sterilizing a parasitic insect of a honeybee is formed by gelling the formic acid in a gelling agent. The density of the gelling agent is in a region of 0.5 to 10 wt percentage relative to that of the formic acid. The density of the formic acid is in a region of 30 to 85 wt percent. A receptacle(4) receiving the formic acid gelling agent has a sealing cap on the upper end thereof. A hole(6) of a constant size, a cover(7) made of an attachment tape, and a withdrawal band(8) served as a handle portion fastened to a right corner of the receptacle for taking out the receptacle are formed in the cap.COPYRIGHT 2001 KIPO
