Moulding wheel tyres.-Relates to apparatus for retreading &c. tyres of the type comprising hinged mould shells and comprises a fixed central shell 4 co-operating with a pair of shells 1, 2 hinged thereto and secured by swivel bolts 9 engaging lugs 8 and fitted with nuts 11. The shells are formed with appropriate mould cavities which may be fitted with liners 17 for different sizes of tyre; and are made hollow for the circulation of steam. A flexible tube 15. backed by a sectional hoop 16, supports each tyre within the mould cavity.
