Hydraulic motors (6,6') are mounted on the ends of the axle, each with a brake (5,5) in front of it. The brakes are multiple disc brakes. Planet gears (7,7') are positioned between wheels and hydraulic motors. A central section (1) of the wheel drive is a tubular hollow body. The wheel drive is connected to the vehicle via flange parts.
