Independent claims also included for: (1) a plant-based, mineral or vitamin composition or composition based on organic active ingredients in the form of spheroids as above; (2) a process for producing spheroids, comprising: providing a highly concentrated active solution or powder; providing a homogeneous dry mixture of hydroxypropyl cellulose with a low degree of substitution; wetting the mixture with the active solution or another aqueous or non-aqueous liquid; extruding the mixture; spheronizing the extruded product; and drying and sizing the spheroids.
