Fecha de publicación: 14/05/1999 Fuente: WIPO "apis" PURPOSE: A method for making a tube of fishing rod having a projected spiral guide inside the tube where a fishing line passes through is provided to prevent the line of being worn by friction with the tube and let the passing of the line easy.CONSTITUTION: The fishing rod tube is made by the steps of: (i) spirally winding cellophane tape(2) having forming grooves located longitudinally around the surface of a mandrel(1); (ii) rolling carbon strings(3) in the forming grooves and winding the surface of the cellophane tape with carbonate resin fabric material; (iii) heating the prepared mandrel to combine the carbon strings and the carbon fabric material and form the strings into a shape of the groove on the tape; (iv) separating the resulting tube formed from the heated and hardened carbonate resin fabric material from the mandrel; (v) removing the tape spirally placed inside the tube by pulling the tape to get the fishing rod tube with guides inside formed by the projected carbon strings; and then (vi) polishing and coating the surface of the tube. The height and the intervals of the guides can be adjusted by controlling the size of the forming grooves and the winding spaces of the tape.COPYRIGHT 2001 KIPO
