In a plastic honeycomb, with cells of approximately full cell-wall height, a central wall and cell walls provided on both sides of the central wall, the cell walls and the central wall are designed flush with the end wall assigned to the central wall and resting loosely on the central wall, i.e. with no connection between the central wall and cell walls. The cell walls are fixed, as a whole, by means of the central wall to particular cells on both sides of the central wall. The cell walls consist of two sections combined to form an integral unit, of which the section adjoining the central wall widens slightly and conically outwards from the cell base and the outer section tapers more sharply and conically towards the outside.
