Fecha de publicación: 05/07/2005 Fuente: WIPO "apis" PURPOSE: A data storage for a mobile device capable of expanding memory capacity is provided to expand memory capacity, and perform USB communication of a host level.CONSTITUTION: The data storage device comprises a connection part(110), a USB controller(120), a controller(130), an interface(140), and an internal memory for storing data. The connection part is fixed to a mainbody of the storage device, and connected to a device. The USB controller communicates with the connected device through the USB. The USB controller detects transferred signal from the device. If the USB host controller signal is detected, the USB controller is driven as a device controller. If the USB device controller signal is detected, the USB controller is driven as a host controller. The controller is connected to the USB controller and the interface, and controls the USB controller to perform the USB host function and the USB device function.© KIPO 2006
