The current procedure for glazing plants is predominantly carried out by two methods: a) vaporising the product by means of sprinklers and b) placing the product in pools wherein glazing products have been dissolved. High costs (use of water, subsequent drying) and the fact that glazing is not ecological create a problem. In order to solve this problem, the glazing can be carried out by means of solid wax rollers penetrated by a shaft arranged in the brushing area such that when the brush rotates, the wax roller rotates and applies wax to the brushes, said brushes then transferring said wax to the fruit and/or vegetables. The plant can thereby be glazed more economically than with current methods.
