The National Technological Centre of Food and Agriculture "Extremadura" (CTAEX) is a non-profit Business Association. Its, main aim is to meet the demands and needs for the development of sustainable production, preservation and processing methods of agri-food products through an integrated approach to rural development, seeking competitiveness and efficiency in production. Mainly through:

 

• Basic research in the field of agriculture, food preservation and processing industries and environmental conservation.
• Applied research for improvements in production processes, new elaboration methods and techniques, standardisation of characteristics and qualities, new testing methods, revaluation of products, productivity, environmental conservation, integrated farming, sustainable development, etc.
• The provision of technological services such as quality, organisation of production, training, information, documentation, dissemination, legislation, design and environment.
• Contribution to the transfer of research results.
• The promotion of joint research between companies and in general, elevation of their technological level, their competitiveness and environmental conservation practices.
• Promoting continuous training and specialisation of technical staff of the companies in the agri-food and environmental sectors.

Extremeña de Abonos Líquidos SL, EAL

Extremeña de Abonos Líquidos SL (EAL) is a company that manufactures and markets fertilizers and other agricultural production inputs. It is located in Garrovilla (Badajoz) and it has facilities and machinery that enables it to manufacture custom products according to the needs of the customers.

EAL is participating in various projects in the search for biological products that will improve the response of crops to various stressful situations and with the least environmental and health impact of the farmer and consumer.
