The invention discloses a water and fertilizer drip irrigation integrated method for promoting flue-cured tobacco root development. The method applies amino acid water-soluble fertilizer and macroelement water-soluble fertilizer in a staged drip irrigation manner after tobacco plants are transplanted, and specifically comprises the following steps of 1) 7-10 days after tobacco plants are transplanted, applying amino acid water-soluble fertilizer in the drip irrigation manner; and 2) performing drip irrigation on macroelement water-soluble fertilizer with different concentrations and differentdosages for 5 times in the growth period of tobacco seedlings. The amino acid water-soluble fertilizer and the macroelement water-soluble fertilizer are applied in the staged drip irrigation manner after transplanting so as to achieve the purpose of optimizing the morphological configuration of the root system. By adjusting and optimizing the application manner of the fertilizer and adopting the water and fertilizer drip irrigation integration method, the utilization rate of the fertilizer by the root system is increased, and the morphological structure of the root system is optimized, so thatthe soil available nitrogen concentration is effectively maintained on the whole, and the utilization efficiency of the fertilizer is improved; and thus, the effects of reducing the chemical fertilizer consumption and reducing the manual investment in the fertilization process are achieved, and meanwhile, the effects of promoting the synthesis of nicotine in tobacco leaves and improving the yieldand quality of the tobacco leaves are achieved.
