The invention discloses a preparation method and application of pyroligneous liquor suitable for preventing and treating tomato bacterial wilt. The pyroligneous liquor is generated by agricultural waste tobacco stems at the carbonization temperature of 500 DEG C and the highest temperature retention time of 2 h, and a pyroligneous liquor product which can be directly used is prepared through a series of refining measures such as standing layering, precipitation filtering and the like. According to the method, the refined wood vinegar is diluted by adding water and then is applied into the soil by using a root irrigation method before the tomato bacterial wilt is attacked, so that the tomato bacterial wilt can be effectively prevented. The method not only realizes resource utilization and green environmental protection value of wastes, but also has a remarkable effect of preventing tomato bacterial wilt, and is an effective way for preventing and controlling tomato soil-borne bacterial wilt.
