The invention provides a peanut bacterial wilt resistant NBS-LRR coding gene AhRRS1 and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of plant genetic engineering. An NBS-LRR coding gene AhRRS1 closely linked with resistance is obtained through peanut bacterial wilt resistance QTL positioning, the polymorphism of an anti-susceptibility parent, a related resistance source and an extreme anti-susceptibility hybrid RIL progeny material is detected by designing a gene specific SNP molecular marker, tobacco is heterologous overexpressed by constructing a plant expression vector to obtain a transgenic plant, ralstonia solanacearum inoculation is performed, and the transgenic plant is subjected to gene expression. The resistance of transgenic tobacco to ralstonia solanacearum infection can be remarkably improved through heterologous overexpression of the gene AhRRS1 in tobacco, it is indicated that the gene AhRRS1 can participate in defense reaction of plants to ralstonia solanacearum, and gene resources and theoretical basis are provided for peanut anti-bacterial wilt molecular marker assisted breeding and plant anti-bacterial wilt genetic engineering breeding.
