The invention discloses a method for optimizing tobacco plant nitrogen metabolism to control green tobacco leaf reviving in a mature period. The method is used for quickly diagnosing the reviving degree of fresh tobacco leaves according to a SPAD value and comprises the following steps that a mixed solution of KH2PO4 or K2SO4 with the mass percent concentration of 1-1.5% and 20-30mg/L ethephon are sprayed once to twice on the leaf surface of I type reviving tobacco leaves, and is sprayed one every 5-7 days; a mixed solution of KH2PO4 or K2SO4 with the mass percent concentration of 1.5-2% and 30-50mg/L ethephon is sprayed on the leaf surfaces of the II type reviving tobacco leaves for 2-3 times, and is sprayed once every 4-5 days; and a mixed solution of KH2PO4 or K2SO4 with the mass percent concentration of 2-3% and 50-80mg/L ethephon is sprayed on the leaf surfaces of the III type reviving tobacco leaves for 2-4 times, and is sprayed once every 3-5 days. According to the method for optimizing the tobacco plant nitrogen metabolism to control green tobacco leaf reviving in the mature period, nitrogen metabolic transformation can be accelerated, and therefore the purpose of controlling reviving of the green tobacco leaves in the mature period is achieved.
