The invention provides a method for modifying and transforming a virus expression vector on the basis of a pseudostellaria heterophylla TuMV-phe virus gene. On the basis of a pseudostellaria heterophylla TuMV-phe virus genome, the virus expression vector is transformed into a pseudostellaria heterophylla virus expression vector capable of receiving and carrying an exogenous gene. A tested indicator gene is inserted into a pseudostellaria heterophylla specific TuMV-phe vector, pseudostellaria heterophylla and tobacco are infected through an agrobacterium-mediated method, and an exogenous gene protein product can be rapidly expressed in two types of plants. According to the method, complex and redundant processes of conventional transformation methods such as infection, tissue regeneration and positive screening are avoided; the bottleneck of efficient gene expression in plants, which is difficult to carry out by a conventional genetic transformation system, is broken through; the constructed virus vector has the characteristics of simplicity, rapidness, high efficiency, strong specificity, wide receptor gene types and the like; and an effective technical platform is provided for the subsequent efficient expression of protein with medicinal and economic value in the pseudostellaria heterophylla.
