The flue-cured tobacco curing method comprises the steps that fresh flue-cured tobacco leaves which are suitable for being ripe are harvested; and the tobacco leaves are put into a curing barn; the tobacco leaves put into the curing barn are cured, andthe cured tobacco leaves can be obtained through a yellowing stage, a color fixing stage and a stem drying stage. The application is the application of the tobacco leaves obtained through the flue-cured tobacco curing method in preparation of the heated cigarettes. According to the flue-cured tobacco curing method for reducing the starch content of the tobacco leaves of the heated cigarettes and the application, based on the characteristics of raw materials and smoking of the heated cigarettes, according to the starch decomposition and conversion and aroma formation rules in the tobacco curingprocess, curing is conducted by controlling the dry bulb temperature and adjusting the wet bulb temperature and the optimal combination of the curing time, the curing time of the yellowing stage andthe fixed stage is properly prolonged, starch degradation in the curing process is promoted, therefore, the starch conversion rate and the sugar content of the tobacco leaves are increased, and finally the tobacco leaves of the heated cigarettes with the internal quality and the appearance quality obviously improved are obtained.
