The invention belongs to the technical field of flue-cured tobacco cultivation, and particularly relates to a flue-cured tobacco cultivation method capable of reducing labor and cost, saving fertilizer and improving efficiency. The method comprises the following steps: (1) straw returning to the field during soil preparation in advance: before soil preparation in advance, rice or wheat straw is uniformly spread to the field, and then ploughing is performed; (2) high ridging before transplanting: performing high ridging before transplanting; (3) deep pond digging: digging the deep pond in the ridged tobacco field; (4) one-time double-layer fertilization: applying 50% of fertilizer to the bottom of the pond, uniformly mixing the fertilizer with soil, covering the pond with pond soil, and circularly applying the other 50% of fertilizer to a position close to the inner side of a pond opening; (5) film mulching and transplanting: performing agricultural film mulching after fertilization is completed, breaking the film and opening in the center of the tobacco pond, then transplanting tobacco seedlings, and covering the roots with fine soil. The film covering period is from flue-cured tobacco transplanting to flue-cured tobacco harvesting; the labor for tobacco production is reduced, and the fertilizer utilization efficiency is increased, so that the sustainable development of flue-cured tobacco production is facilitated.
