The invention relates to an application of a co-dominant SSR molecular marker closely linked with a cis-abnieol gene qAbl, in particular to an application of the co-dominant SSR molecular marker closely linked with the cis-abnieol gene qAbl in detecting whether the cis-abnieol gene qAbl exists in tobacco genome DNA or not. The co-dominant SSR molecular marker closely linked with the cis-abnieol gene qAbl provided by the invention has the characteristics of accuracy, high efficiency, stability, convenience and low cost, so that the molecular marker can be applied to molecular marker-assisted selection of the cis-abnieol gene qAbl in tobacco high-aroma-quality breeding.
