The invention discloses a baking method for reducing pesticide residues of flue-cured tobacco. The baking method specifically comprises the following steps: 1) baking pre-treatment: spraying water tothe surfaces of harvested ripe flue-cured tobacco fresh tobacco leaves every time till water drops drop down, carrying out the water spraying treatment after no obvious water exists on the surfaces, performing the water spraying and air-drying treatment three times repeatedly, and dissolving part of pesticide by spraying water, thereby facilitating the degradation of pesticide residues in the follow-up baking process, and weaving the rods and then loading the rods into a curing barn; 2) baking of the tobacco leaves, including a yellowing stage, a color fixing stage and a stem drying stage. According to the method, baking pretreatment and baking treatment are organically combined, the method has the advantages of being low in cost and high in benefit, the pesticide residue of the tobacco leaves is greenly and safely reduced, and the quality of the baked tobacco leaves is improved; besides, the method provided by the invention has good removal effects on different pesticides, the removaleffect on dimethachlon is optimal, and the removal rate is as high as 95.58%.
