The invention discloses a tobacco yield prediction method based on growth season rainfall. The tobacco yield prediction method comprises the steps of acquiring and performing statistics on the monthlyrainfall of tobacco growth seasons over the years, the tobacco yield and the monthly rainfall of tobacco growth seasons in the same year in multiple tobacco planting areas; analyzing the average rainfall of tobacco growing seasons over the years and the average tobacco yield in recent five years in the tobacco planting area, and establishing a tobacco yield prediction model A or a tobacco yield prediction model B; and substituting the rainfall of the tobacco planting area in each month of the current tobacco growth season into the tobacco yield prediction model to obtain the current tobacco predicted yield. According to the method of the invention, rainfall and tobacco leaf yield are recorded according to multi-year growth seasons of a multi-land tobacco planting area; the prediction model is analyzed and established to predict the tobacco yield; the model only contains a single variable factor of the rainfall of the growth season, so that the field detection and prediction calculation are relatively simple, the practicability is high, the prediction result is more stable, the income of tobacco growers can be increased, certain guiding significance is achieved for flue-cured tobacco production, and a positive effect can be achieved for quality improvement and efficiency improvement of the tobacco industry.
