According to the method, by means of the habit that thrips are fond of gathering in plant flowers, the thrips field harm is predicated and forecasted favorably by observing harm and quantity of thrips on the flowers of plants around the field, so that production is guided for precise prevention. In particular, under the circumstance that the tobacco plants are relatively large and thrips dispersed on the tobacco plants have harm, the method has the advantages of being convenient to operate and high in accuracy.
