The invention discloses a preliminary flue-cured tobacco drying method effectively improving the processability of a re-drying link in the tobacco industry. The method comprises the steps of tobacco charging, yellowing, withering, leaf drying and vein drying. The physical processing-resistant ability of preliminarily dried flue-cured tobaccos can be effectively improved, and the crushing resistance is improved. By optimizing temperature, humidity and drying time, smoke of tobacco leaves has the advantages of being full, mellow and sufficient and having slight large irritation and slight concentrated strength while the stable yellow property of the tobacco leaves is ensured, meanwhile the sensory quality of the tobacco leaves is improved according to the industrial demand through follow-upre-drying, and the problem of poor industrial re-drying processability caused by the fact that the quality of tobacco leaves dried by adopting a traditional preliminary drying method is close to the quality after re-drying is effectively avoided. The moisture absorption rate of tobacco leaves can be improved, and accordingly the method is conductive to switching from a quicker moisture absorptionstate to an appropriate threshing processing state in the re-dry-processing course. In addition, by adopting the preliminary flue-cured tobacco drying method, the moisture dissipation rate of tobaccoleaves can be improved, rapid moisture loss at a re-drying stage is facilitated, and accordingly the needed moisture content demand is met.
