The method comprises the following steps of 1, preparation of phytophthora nicotianae hypha blocks; 2, preparation of pumpkin chips; 3, inoculation; 4, pathogenicity determination and evaluation. The method is simple, convenient to use and easy to implement; pathogenic bacteria are stable in pathogenicity expression, repeatability is good, the result is reliable, and the pathogenicity and pathogenic strength of phytophthora nicotianae can be accurately reflected; during actual operation, batch operation can be conducted, the method has the advantages that the occupied space is small, labor cost is reduced, and the experimental period is shortened, and therefore the method is suitable for application and popularization.
