The invention discloses a method and device for efficiently catching and analyzing heavy (like) metals in cigarette flue gas. The method comprises the following steps of: sample collecting, preparation before catching, catching, extracting and analyzing. The device comprises a catching bottle, a water bath groove and an air extractor, wherein the air extractor is arranged in an ice water bath groove; the catching bottle and a sealing plug have elastically and/or plastically-deformable structures, and are in tight fit with each other; an air inlet guide pipe on the sealing plug is communicated with a catching air source; and an air outlet pipe is communicated with the air extractor. A polyfluortetraethylene catching bottle with stable material property, high airtightness and high material stability is adopted, so that the catching efficiency is high, and the analysis and testing background is low. Parallel determination is performed on arsenic, mercury, lead and cadmium, so that a relative standard deviation is less than 10 percent. The method disclosed by the invention has high repeatability. The recovery rates of arsenic, mercury, lead and cadmium are 92.3-102.5 percent, the average recovery rate of arsenic is 98.2 percent, the average recovery rate of mercury is 96.4 percent, the average recovery rate of lead is 95.8 percent, and the average recovery rate of cadmium is 102.0 percent, so that the recovery rates are high.
