The invention further provides a microbial agent based on the indicator stenotrophomonas indericatrix strain 107E3, and a method for preventing and treating the bacterial wilt. The invention further provides a bacterial agent based on the indicator stenotrophomonas indericatrix strain 107E3 and a method for preventing and treating the bacterial wilt. Experiments prove that an indicator, namely the stenotrophomonas indicatrix strain 107E3, can be used for effectively maintaining the disease index of a tobacco plant suffering from bacterial wilt at a relatively low level.
