The invention discloses a fertilization method for optimizing the ratio of sugar to nicotine in preliminarily cured tobacco. The method includes the following steps of 1, 7-14 days before transplanting, uniformly applying 800-1,200 kg/hm of bacillus subtilis organic fertilizer onto to-be-ridged soil and then conducting ridging for moisture management; 2, on the day of transplanting of tobacco plants, mixing 160-180 kg/hm of diammonium phosphate, 120-140 kg/hm of ammonium nitrate and 5-15 kg/hm of functional microbial preparation, then thoroughly and uniformly stirring the mixture with tobacco field bottom soil, and transplanting tobacco seedlings; 3, 30-35 days after transplanting of the tobacco plants, adopting 250-300 kg/hm of potassium sulphate as additional fertilizer, forming a hole in a moisture preservation surface 18-22 cm away from each tobacco plant, applying the additional fertilizer into the holes, and then covering the holes with soil; 4, 35-42 days after transplanting of the tobacco plants, adopting a drip fertigation mode for applying 2-4 kg/hm of sodium humate and controlling the concentration of the applied fertilizer at 0.3-0.5%. By means of themethod, the ratio of sugar to nicotine in the preliminarily cured tobacco can be effectively optimized; the industrial usability of the tobacco is improved, the quality of the tobacco is improved, theyield of the tobacco is increased, and the economic benefit of the tobacco is increased. By applying biological organic fertilizer, improvement of soil physical and chemical properties of the plantedtobacco is facilitated, and the soil quality of the planted tobacco is improved.2>2>2>2>2>2>
