By the mountainous drought-resistant and water-saving cultivation method, tobaccos can normally grow in a mountain land which is relativley arid and has poor soil water retaining capacity in the case of a small water irrigation amount, and the area index of tobacco leaves is increased; moreover, dry matter accumulation of the tobaccos can be effectively promoted and the dry weights of root, stem and leaf biomasses of the tobaccos are increased; meanwhile, the water utilization rate of the tobaccos is effectively improved and a drought-resistant and water-saving production effect of the tobaccos is enhanced.
