The method is characterized in that the four to six mature tobacco leaves at the upper portion of a tobacco plant are picked at a time; sparse weaving and classification are carried on the tobacco leaves which are then conveyed to a baking room; appropriate baking steps and appropriate parameters are selected; the tobacco leaves rapidly turn yellow; and the yellow turning time is shortened, humidity elimination is carried out in advance, coordination of yellow turning, humidity elimination and drying is guaranteed, the high temperature and high humidity environment is isolated, and the enzymatic browning reaction is restrained. The baking method is simple in method, easy to master and capable of greatly reducing surface dusting of the upper portion tobacco leaves and improving the baking quality of the KRK26 tobacco leaves.
