The method comprises the following steps: harvesting tobacco leaves; tobacco weaving and tobacco loading are standard; preparation after tobacco loading and before baking; a four-section type curing process is adopted, the first section is airing and hanging, then the curing parameters of the yellowing stage, the color fixing stage and the stem drying stage and the use amount of firewood and wood chips are sequentially controlled, and the tobacco leaves obtained through the curing method for endowing the tobacco leaves with the elegant costus roots are obtained and are the tobacco leaves obtained through the curing method. According to the method, the graceful radix aucklandiae is endowed to the tobacco leaves during baking, the tobacco leaves with different radix aucklandiae can be obtained according to the variety difference of the used firewood and wood chips, and the method has great contribution to expansion of tobacco leaf raw materials.
