The invention relates to bacillus velezensis DX-32 capable of efficiently degrading nitrite and TSNAs and application of the bacillus velezensis DX-32, and belongs to the field of microorganisms. According to the invention, bacillus velezensis DX-32 is separated and screened from cigar tobacco leaves, the bacillus velezensis DX-32 is preserved in the China Center for Type Culture Collection (CCTCC), and the preservation number is CCTCC NO: M 2022908. The bacillus velezensis DX-32 not only can efficiently degrade nitrite, but also can obviously reduce specific nitrosamines (TSNAs) of tobacco, has important significance in the aspect of improving the safety of the tobacco, and also provides a precious microbial resource for reducing harm in tobacco agriculture.
