When a medium containing vegetable peptone, glucose, and yeast extracts and not containing animal-derived components according to the present invention is used for culturing Clostridium botulinum strains, the strain growth rate is increased compared to the existing mediums, and the strains can be safely cultured due to not containing animal-derived components, thereby increasing the productivity of botulinum toxin.
