The compact robotic enclosure receives challenge input data originating from outside the interior compartment and generates and communicates a signal encoding speech data to the speaker which audibly forms a sound in accordance with the speech data for receipt by the electronic device. Further, the compact robotic enclosure receives from the sensor response data emanating from the electronic device and generates output data based on the response data and further conveys, via the transceiver to a location outside the interior compartment, a challenge response based on the output data.
