Fecha de publicación: -- Fuente: WIPO "tomato" A seed sampling system includes an automated seed loading assembly, having a seed bin configured to singulate seeds from a plurality of seeds within the seed bin, a diverter configured to receive the singulated seeds from the seed bin, multiple elevator units, and multiple transport tubes extending between the diverter and the elevator units for delivering the singulated seeds from the seed bin to the elevator units. In addition, the diverter is configured to rotate relative to the transport tubes to deliver individual ones of the singulated seeds to select ones of the transport tubes. The system also includes an automated seed transport assembly including multiple retention members configured to receive the singulated seeds from the elevator units, and an automated seed sampling assembly configured to receive the singulated seeds from the retention members of the seed transport assembly and remove tissue from the singulated seeds.
