A.Gray essential oil (EO) is limited. Therefore, this study aimed to characterise its volatile constituents for the first time using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. A total of 39 compounds, representing 96.63% of the total EO, were identified. The major components were d-limonene (22.55%), limonene-1, 2-diol (16.90%), and β-myrcene (6.65%). Monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes were the predominant classes in the EO. This work provides the first detailed characterisation of the volatile profile of this species and serves as a basis for future bioactivity investigations.PMID:42101241 | DOI:10.1080/14786419.2026.2666671
